Cheap Football Panthers Womens Vernon Butler Jerseys For Sale

Panthers defensive tackle Vernon Butler is expected to miss at least a month with a sprained left knee he injured during the first half of Wednesday’s exhibition victory over Houston.

Butler, the first-round pick in 2016, went down hard on a crack-back block by Texans tackle Breno Giacomini on a tunnel screen to wideout Braxton Miller.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera sent video of Giacomini’s block to the NFL for league officials to determine whether it was legal.

“That’s going to be up to the league,” Rivera said Friday. “I sent it in, just wanted to get a clarification on it. We’ll go from there.”

Butler missed five games last season with a high ankle sprain that hurt his development as a rookie.

He was in the midst of a solid training camp, but now will be sidelined for the rest of the preseason. Rivera said the team hopes Butler will be ready for the Week 1 game at San Francisco.

Cheap Authentic Nike NFL Womens Panthers Harrison Butker Jerseys

It just wasn’t the right day for Carolina Panthers rookie kicker and seventh-round pick Harrison Butker.

It was more of a wide-left day, actually.

Butker had the lone kicking responsibilities in Saturday’s Panthers training camp practice, and hit four of six attempts. The two he missed were back-to-back, and both sailed past the left side of the uprights.

“I think he’s just learning to get the feel for it,” said head coach Ron Rivera.

Butker did impress with his last kick – a 52-yarder right through the middle of the uprights, with plenty of extra room to go.

“He’s getting used to it. He’s a work in progress. I look forward to the opportunity he gets when we get to the preseason.”

Butker is in a kicking competition for a roster spot with veteran Graham Gano, who did not kick on Saturday.

“We are alternating,” said Rivera. “What they want to do is one day just one guy kicks the whole thing, so (Sunday) it’ll be all Graham.”

It’s going to be a busy NFL exhibition season with almost 40 Aggies in camp.

Carolina Panthers’ rookie defensive end Daeshon Hall had a tackle and two quarterback hits in a 27-17 loss to Houston on Wednesday. New Orleans’ defensive back De’Vante Harris had a tackle in a 20-14 loss to New Orleans

In other news, defensive back Tramain Jacobs signed with Detroit on Tuesday after being with the CFL’s Toronto Argonauts. Jacobs has been with Baltimore (2014-15), the New York Giants (2015-16) and Oakland (2016). He’s played in eight NFL games, three with Baltimore in 2014 and five with the Giants in ’15. He has three career tackles.

The 49ers signed Sean Porter on Wednesday to a one-year deal. Porter (6-1, 242) was drafted by Cincinnati in the fourth round in 2013. He played one game with the Bengals in two years, missing his rookie season with an injury and then was waived Nov. 30, 2015. He was signed a week later by Jacksonville for its practice squad. He played two games in ’16, spending the rest of the time on the practice squad.

Pittsburgh waived center Mike Matthews on Tuesday. Matthews then after clearing waivers was put on the team’s reserve/injured list where he could receive an injury settlement after suffering a torn patella tendon which wasn’t known until after he was put on waivers.
